Alibaba to Expand Cloud Computing Overseas

Alibaba Offers Cloud Computing in China

Alibaba Group began offering a cloud computing service, Ju Baopen, to several banks and securities firms in mainland China.  According to Alibaba, these financial institutions are now able to provide online payment services through the company’s Alibaba Cloud Computing. Salesforce.com Acquired Cloudconnect

Salesforce.com has purchased cloudconnect, a startup founded by Heroku and Salesforce.com alum Adam Gross.  The announcement was made at Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce conference in San Francisco.  Cloudconnect compiles customer data for app developers, to be part of Heroku. Salesforce.com and HP Announce Strategic Cloud Partnership

Salesforce.com Dreamforce – Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) and HP (NYSE: HPQ) today announced a strategic partnership in cloud computing. Alibaba to Acquire Kanbox
