Acxiom to Cut up to $30 million in Operating Expenses – Staff Layoff Underway

Experian Sells Document Outsourcing Business in Colombia

Experian PLC (EXPN.LN) has sold the Colombia document outsourcing business of Experian Computec S.A. to Hermes Documentos S.A.S., a Colombian investor, for an undisclosed sum. Acxiom Staff Lay-Offs

Acxiom Corp. said it had laid off around 20 employees in its marketing division as part of a company-wide reorganization.  In its recent earnings release the company reported a decline of 2% in revenues from marketing and data services.  The company reported also that it had experienced client losses in the IT Infrastructure Management business. Cognizant Q2 2012 Revenues up 20.9%

Revenues climbed 20.9 percent to $1.795 billion, while analysts estimated revenues of $1.79 billion for the quarter.  Revenue rose 4.9 percent sequentially.
