Acxiom announces further strengthening of its European business with the appointment of Ian James, Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) Chief Digital Officer EMEA and Dynamic Markets, as European Managing Director.
In this role, James will report to Nada Stirratt, Acxiom’s Global Chief Revenue Officer, and will be responsible for all of @AcxiomUK European operations including the roll-out of its unique Audience Operating System™ (AOS™) to the region. James brings to Acxiom a wealth of digital marketing experience, which will be vital to Acxiom’s success as the company increases focus on bringing together the digital and offline data worlds.
At SMG, James oversaw client accounts including P&G, Samsung and Heineken. His previous roles include Global Head of Digital at Bacardi, Vice President Aegis Media Global, and Group Strategy Director and Managing Director at Chrysalis Mobile.
